Routine Carpet Care
Regular vacuuming is the number one key to your successful routine carpet care. Use a vacuum model that suits your specific carpet construction, and vacuum as frequently as you can on a weekly basis. This will remove harmful dirt, dust, debris, and pet dander particles before they become abrasive and wear down your carpet’s plush appearance.
Carpet Spills & Stains
When a spill does occur on your carpet, it’s important to treat it as promptly as possible to prevent permanent stains. Lift any solid material gently with a spoon, then begin blotting the spill with a dry clean cloth and warm water. Start from the perimeter of the spill and blot towards the center of the spill. Use a gentle carpet-specific cleaner to spot treat the area if needed.
Enjoying Your New Carpet
We always recommend a number of preventative steps to enjoy your new carpet. Arm all entranceways with mats and encourage guests to scrape footwear before entering the home. Have guests remove footwear by the door during inclement weather. Also, make sure to keep all pets brushed regularly and nails trimmed to prevent snags to your carpet.
